“Your one-on-one coaching sessions made a
believer of me – and my management team. By addressing
the needs of specific employees, we have improved the way
we communicate.”
Thalia Iovine, Director
of Human Resources
Avery-Dennison
People are individuals. They think
differently, behave differently and learn differently.
Christy Schmidt’s approach to one-on-one coaching builds
on this truism to help organizations improve employee performance
– with results that can last a lifetime.
Based on her experience as a consultant,
trainer and speaker, Christy creates customized coaching
programs that take into account individual learning styles
and training needs. These programs can be developed to address
specific issues or as a follow-on to training workshops.
While no two programs are the same,
one-on-one coaching typically begins with a behavioral or
management style inventory and then moves into a series
of private coaching sessions that are coupled with telephone
follow up. All sessions are conducted in private to encourage
honesty and eliminate embarrassment. “Shadowing” sessions,
during which Christy accompanies the participant in the
work environment, can also be incorporated.
